The Talkin Ed Bradley Non-clarified Position Blues (A Drag)

Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel

St. Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the Devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray,
and do thou,
O Prince of the heavenly hosts,
by the power of God,
thrust into hell Satan,
and all the evil spirits,
who prowl about the world
seeking the ruin of souls. Amen. .

O glorious prince St. Michael,
chief and commander of the heavenly hosts,
guardian of souls, vanquisher of rebel spirits,
servant in the house of the Divine King
and our admirable conductor,
you who shine with excellence
and superhuman virtue deliver us from all evil,
who turn to you with confidence
and enable us by your gracious protection
to serve God more and more faithfully every day.

+++++++

Some readers may have bumped into posts on line, perhaps on YouTube that state, “Look here, Bob Dylan tells Ed Bradley he made a deal, a bargain, a pact with the devil”.

Above is the complete interview that was released.

Very doubtful Bob Dylan knowingly or unknowingly made a pact with some demonic force or Bohemian Grove type, Illuminati, satanic cult. If he did, Bob, the father, grandfather and maybe great grandfather by now, will have to work that out. I am confident his ancestors will help. (see below useful tools to renounce satan, ties, bonds, attachments, pacts, and generational spirits and other)

Dylan’s ongoing profession of faith and love of Jesus Christ certainly wins him a whole lot of grace, and protection, and so might the simplest prayer, and act of charity and kindness he may engage in. He is probably a big tipper. See Matthew 10:32

When Dylan answered Bradley’s question, “can I ask you, who you made the bargain with”, Dylan said, “with the Chief Commander”, and then added, “of this world and the world we cannot see.”

It is more than likely the mid western American was referring not to satan, but to God to whom he made a bargain with. Satan may be the prince of this world, but certainly not of the world we cannot see.

Arch Angel Michael is mentioned in both the Old and New Testament. (Daniel 10:13, 21, 12:1, Jude 1:9, and Revelation 12:7 )

Michael, the Archangel, whose name means “He who is like God,” is the Chief Commander of God’s angels. Archangel Michael brought down from Heaven the arrogantly proud Lucifer (Satan) and the other fallen spirits, when they rebelled against God.

Four Main Roles in Catholic Teaching
We recognize that St. Michael has four “offices” or roles.

  • Leader of the Army of God: St. Michael is seen as the commander of heaven’s forces, leading the angelic host in their battle against the powers of darkness. He serves as a model of spiritual warfare, reflecting the ongoing struggle between good and evil.
  • Angel of Death: St. Michael is regarded as the angel of death, accompanying the souls of departed Christians (I add “and perhaps, non-Christians as well”) to heaven. At the moment of death, he offers the souls an opportunity for redemption, thwarting the devil’s attempts to claim them.
  • Weigher of Souls: St. Michael is often depicted holding balanced scales, symbolizing his role in weighing souls during the Last Judgment. This signifies his involvement in the divine judgment of humanity.
  • Guardian of the Church: St. Michael serves as the guardian of the Church and the Chosen People. Throughout history, he has been revered by military orders of knights and is considered the patron saint of various cities and countries.

📜✨ NEW SONG: "RESTLESS HEARTS" — You can’t fill an infinite hole with finite stuff.

St. Augustine nailed it:
“Our hearts are restless until they rest in You.”

Jean-Paul Sartre saw the same ache and called it “nausea” — because we’re finite… yet we desire the infinite.
