Saints have said, Mary’s words are profound and can provide an entire lifetime of meditation. Her words, “Do whatever He tells you,” do not only apply to the servants at the feast, but to every Christian throughout history.

So Dylan travels the world singing to people his words, “free me from sin”. Good for him.
Take back what the devil stole and tacitly encourage others to desire and work on being free from sin. In the Book of James it says, confess your sins to one another, James 5:16. The Sacrament of penance offers a great grace. It is a great weapon. Some writers will unpack Dylan’s intent with this line regarding sin… Many will overlook it.

In the summer of 1984, I was up front (close) at a Garcia show in upstate NY, in earshot of the sound created from his two Twin Reverb heads, Macintosh power amp, sounding through JBL speakers and monitors and the house front speakers. Remarkable tone up front.
I glanced over to where John Kahn, the bassist was standing, and noticed a statue of the Blessed Virgin Mother on Kahn’s speaker cabinet or amp head. Weird. Maybe the statue was a holdover from Garcia’s Legion of Mary/ https://www.legionofmary.ie/ days, or maybe having it there was a joke. Maybe it was a genuine display of something of faith from Kahn or someone in the crew, or again, maybe just a joke.
Nevertheless, I saw that little statue, and not long after, I was visiting a blessed aunt of mine who was devoted to Jesus Christ and the Sacred Heart. She also had a deep love and connection with the Blessed Virgin Mother and all things approved by the Church. It was during a talk of the Church approved apparitions like Fatima, Portugal in 1917, Guadalupe Mexico, in 1531, Our Lady of Good Success in 1594, Quito Ecuador, and Akita Japan apparitions from 1973 -1979 when my aunt informed me that there were reports of the Virgin Mother appearing in Medjugorje, Yugoslavia. I asked, “Now, 1984”?!
Soon after learning that, I arranged a flight to London and a train trip to communist Yugoslavia in early 1985.
The Church is cautious and prudent when investigating new unapproved Marian apparitions. I was told in different ways by many and the scripture informs us that the diabolical one is an accuser, a liar, a thief, a murderer and a destroyer. He can present 1000 truths, for one grand lie, or some bad operatives down here, could implement a project blue beam event in hopes of duping the masses.
Only the first days of the apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mother in Medjugorje were approved in 2024 and Garabandal, is unapproved by the church at this time of writing in 2025.
Below is a quote from the approved apparition in Akita, Japan in the 1970s:
As I told you, if men do not repent and better themselves, the Father will inflict a terrible punishment on all humanity. It will be a punishment greater than the deluge, such as one will never have seen before. Fire will fall from the sky and will wipe out a great part of humanity, the good as well as the bad, sparing neither priests nor faithful. The survivors will find themselves so desolate that they will envy the dead. The only arms which will remain for you will be the Rosary and the Sign left by My Son.
The work of the devil will infiltrate even into the Church in such a way that one will see cardinals opposing cardinals, bishops against bishops. The priests who venerate me will be scorned and opposed by their confreres…churches and altars sacked; the Church will be full of those who accept compromises and the demon will press many priests and consecrated souls to leave the service of the Lord.
The demon will be especially implacable against souls consecrated to God. The thought of the loss of so many souls is the cause of my sorrow. If sins increase in number and gravity, there will be no longer pardon for them.
Pray very much the prayers of the Rosary. I alone am able still to save you from the calamities which approach. Those who place their confidence in me will be saved.

Some Protestants have little regard for the Virgin Mother, and relegate her to a place of virtual insignificance. God allowed two departed souls to return to earth to be with Jesus, Christ. They were Moses and Elijah. God can have the Mother of the Redeemer return to earth. See Revelations Chapter 12 verse 1-
For our sake, Mary is the daughter of the Father, the spouse of the Holy Spirit and the mother of our redeemer, brother and Lord, Jesus Christ.
The chastisement may come from the hands and actions of man. As Paul wrote, “God will abandon us to our own reprobate minds”. Roman 1:28. God loves us much and he gives us freedom. As Pope Benedict the XVI said at Yankee Stadium in 2008, during a visit to America, “move forward with firm resolve to use wisely the blessings of freedom in order to build a future of hope for coming generations”. Brilliant. We must use “our freedom” wisely, for for some, liberty has turned into license.
Catholic and Orthodox tradition teaches that Mary remained a Virgin. When the word brothers and sisters are mentioned in scripture, that usage may be referencing cousins. The Orthodox church teach that Joseph, had children from a first marriage. From Grok, “This distinction emerged prominently after the East-West Schism of 1054, though both views predate it and reject the Protestant literal interpretation of full siblings.”
Saint Jerome tries to prove that the sisters and brethren spoken of, were either children of Joseph by a former marriage, or first cousins, children of the sister of the Virgin.”
Either way, I ask, if Mary had other children, brothers and or sisters of Christ, why doesn’t scripture detail their presence during the crucifixion? Why did Jesus, from the cross, tell John, “behold your Mother, and likewise to his mother he said, “behold your son”. John 19:26.
Tradition informs us that Saint John took care of Mary after the death, resurrection and ascension of Christ.
Mary’s last words quoted in the Bible are, DO WHATEVER HE TELLS YOU..
Here are a list of some approved Marian apparition sites and messages. Some speculate, the bad guys will try to use HAARP or Project Blue Beam to cause a problem. Maybe they will try to fake a Marian apparition– like what Dorothy saw.

All that said, there was a connection for me seeing the statue of the Virgin Mother Mary on John Kahn’s amp at a Jerry Garcia show and my travel to Medjugorje, Yugoslavia in 1985.
Below is a photo I took in Medjugorje of Apparition Hill from Cross Mountain in March of 1985 w a Nikon, Nikkormat.
If you are not familiar with the story of Medjugorje, an interesting point is reported, that the Virgin Mary told the children, that as an act of grace and a warning to the people of the world, God will leave a physical sign on the hill of the site of her first apparition. The sign will be able to be photographed and seen but will not be able to be destroyed.
Below is a photo of Appartition Hill taken from Cross Hill in Medjugorje. I believe the image, next to the black obelisk shape, in photo is either the height of a twin tower or two and 40-60 yards wide or image is right in front of me… The black image with lighter line/beam leading into it from above, in center of photo may portend the shekinah glory showing up once again. Or its just a photo glitch, the only glitch out of 10 or so rolls of film.

Illumination of Conscience
Billions of people wounded, fractured, mislead, to varying degrees are all running around, most following the natural law and doing the best they can. Unfortunately though, with the stain of Adam, to fully awaken mankind, it will take a theophany, an illumination of conscience of every living person in the world, one last warning to help us to choose God, love, obedience, truth and peace. This idea has come to us via various mystics. It gets a bit complicated and dicey, when some of the over 1 billion Muslims are expecting the return of a Madhi, when there is a worldwide conflagration and Christian Zionists who want to rebuild a temple, where a mosque stands currently.
Simeon’s words to Mary Luke 2 22-28
The Prophecy of Simeon
25 At that time there was a man in Jerusalem named Simeon. He was righteous and devout and was eagerly waiting for the Messiah to come and rescue Israel. The Holy Spirit was upon him 26 and had revealed to him that he would not die until he had seen the Lord’s Messiah. 27 That day the Spirit led him to the Temple. So when Mary and Joseph came to present the baby Jesus to the Lord as the law required,28 Simeon was there. He took the child in his arms and praised God, saying,
29 “Sovereign Lord, now let your servant die in peace,
as you have promised.
30 I have seen your salvation,
31 which you have prepared for all people.
32 He is a light to reveal God to the nations,
and he is the glory of your people Israel!”
33 Jesus’ parents were amazed at what was being said about him. 34 Then Simeon blessed them, and he said to Mary, the baby’s mother, “This child is destined to cause many in Israel to fall, and many others to rise. He has been sent as a sign from God, but many will oppose him. 35 As a result, the deepest thoughts of many hearts will be revealed. And a sword will pierce your very soul.”
